PYBAR – a Thiess Company, is a mining services provider with core competencies in metalliferous underground hard rock mining. With origins dating back to 1993, our success is based on safe, rapid underground infrastructure development and consistent, reliable production. We deliver a range of projects, from large established mining operations to greenfield developments across Australia. The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for experienced underground fitters to support our Raise Bore Division across Australia. Working autonomously as well as part of a team and ensuring a high quality of work, you expand your experience and knowledge of underground fitting.

This position will see you working a 14 on, 14 off roster in a full-time position with flights, accommodation and meals covered.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Relevant trade qualifications
• Proven experience working in mobile plant maintenance (Essential)
• Have proven experience working on various other underground heavy equipment (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety
• Hold a current Australian Drivers License
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
