PYBAR – a Thiess Company, is a mining services provider with core competencies in metalliferous underground hard rock mining. The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Jumbo Operator to join the PYBAR team at the Eloise Copper Mine. We’re seeking a skilled operator who has naturally progressed through key underground mining roles, with hands-on experience in Service Crew, Charging Up, and Bogger Operation.

This is a full-time FIFO position offering an immediate start, with meals and accommodation provided on site. Flights are included, with points of hire from Brisbane, Townsville, and Mt Isa.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Demonstrated experience in underground Jumbo operations (Essential)
• Experience in Bogging, Charge up and Service Crew (Advantageous)
• Have proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (Essential)
• Current QESC (Essential)
• A strong focus on safety
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• Hold a current Manual Australian Drivers Licence
• Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance.
