THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking an experienced Underground LV Fitter and Leading Hand Fitters to join our growing team at Eloise Copper Mine, QLD. This role will see you carrying out servicing, repairs and fault finding on underground light vehicles and equipment. You’ll play a key part in supporting our underground maintenance operations, gaining valuable skills and knowledge to grow your mining career.

ROSTER & LOCATION:

• Full-time position on a 15 days on / 13 days off roster, 14 nights on / 14 days off.
• The ideal candidate will be based in Queensland, with points of hire available from all major Queensland airports.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Previous experience working in a LV Fitting position (Essential) or;
• Experience as a Leading Hand Fitter 
• Previous experience in an underground LV Fitter position (Beneficial)
• Proven experience working on underground mining equipment (Beneficial)
• Valid C Class Manual Drivers Licence (Essential)
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC, & valid manual Driver's Licence)
• A strong commitment to safety
