THE OPPORTUNITY
PYBAR are seeking experienced Raise Bore Supervisors to help lead our Teams in our Raise Bore Division. To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate current or recent Supervisor Experience in the Raise.
This is a full time position on a 2 and 2 roster, offering points of hire from major airports in South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. PYBAR will provide flights from your Point of Hire and accommodation, and meals are provided at site.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising Raise Bore crews to safely execute drilling and raise boring activities.
- Coordinating daily work plans, resources, personnel, and equipment requirements.
- Monitoring production targets and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with site safety systems, legislation, and company procedures.
- Conducting pre-start meetings, workplace inspections, safety interactions, and risk assessments.
- Managing workforce performance, mentoring team members, and fostering a positive team culture.
- Liaising with client representatives and site stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Demonstrated recent experience Raise Bore Supervisor Supervision (Essential)
- Experience working with Raise Bore equipment (Beneficial)
- Have proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (Essential)
- A strong focus on safety
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
- Hold a current Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance.
