The PYBAR Scholarship for Engineering Excellence has been developed in conjunction with Curtin University to provide support to an undergraduate student, passionate about a career in the mining industry.

The merit-based scholarship, commencing in 2020 will be available to a student currently undertaking a resource related undergraduate course at Curtin’s Kalgoorlie Campus, the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM).

The faculty, located in the historic mining town specialises in minerals, energy and chemical engineering and provides a modern and innovative learning experience, boasting high-tech facilities and exceptional industry interaction opportunities.

The three-year scholarship aims to provide the skills necessary for a smooth into a career in the mining industry, with access to PYBAR’s industry leading career development programs, including vacation student and leadership programs.

Applications are currently open, and will close Friday 6th March 2020.
