THE OPPORTUNITY  

We are seeking an organised and proactive Site Administrator to join our team at Hillgrove Mine, near Armidale, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated administration professional to become a valued member of a close-knit site team while supporting a busy underground mining operation. 

Working closely with site leadership, employees, and contractors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support. 

This is a residential, Monday to Friday role, ideally suited to candidates based in Armidale, Hillgrove, Uralla, or surrounding regions. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide administrative support to site management and operational teams 

  • Maintain site records, filing systems, and compliance documentation 

  • Coordinate employee onboarding, inductions, and workforce records 

  • Manage rosters, accommodation records, and travel arrangements as required 

  • Process timesheets, purchase orders, invoices, and other site documentation 

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and site communications 

  • Liaise with employees, contractors, suppliers, and corporate departments 

  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of company systems 

ABOUT YOU 

  • Previous administration experience (all industry backgrounds considered) 

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines 

  • Team-focused with a proactive, can-do attitude 

  • Commitment to safety and fostering a positive workplace culture 

  • Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence (essential) 

  • Ability to satisfy site access requirements, including medical, drug and alcohol testing, police check, and licence verification
