THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for experienced underground Electrician to support our Raise Bore Division in South Australia at the Prominent Hill Mine Site. Working autonomously as well as part of a team and ensuring a high quality of work, you expand your experience and knowledge of underground Electrician maintenance.

This position will see you working a 14 on, 14 off roster in a full-time position with flights, accommodation and meals covered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing planned and breakdown maintenance on raise bore and underground mining equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults on mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Inspecting, testing and repairing electrical systems to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
• Conducting preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.
• Maintaining accurate service records, maintenance reports and inspection documentation.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Working collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Relevant Electrical licence
• Proven experience working in an underground Mine (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety
• Hold a current Australian Drivers License
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
