PYBAR – a Thiess Company, is a mining services provider with core competencies in metalliferous underground hard rock mining. With origins dating back to 1993, our success is based on safe, rapid underground infrastructure development and consistent, reliable production. We deliver a range of projects, from large established mining operations to greenfield developments across Australia. The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Jumbo operator to join our close knit team at Eloise Copper Mine operation in Cloncurry QLD, on a 2/2 rotating roster. In order to be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate current or recent experience in an Jumbo role and a number of years’ experience working on a variety of underground mining equipment. FIFO out of all major cities considered for right applicant.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Demonstrated experience as an underground Jumbo Operator (essential)
• Extensive experience various underground equipment (essential)
• Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence
• Demonstrated underground mining experience (essential)
• All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences (RPL's) 
• Possess a QSEC card - or be willing to obtain (essential)
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety
