PYBAR – a Thiess Company, is a mining services provider with core competencies in metalliferous underground hard rock mining. With origins dating back to 1993, our success is based on safe, rapid underground infrastructure development and consistent, reliable production. We deliver a range of projects, from large established mining operations to greenfield developments across Australia. The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for Offsiders to join our the PYBAR Raise Bore Division. Working autonomously as well as part of a team and ensuring a high quality of work, you will gain and expand your knowledge of underground mining.

This position will see you working a 14 on, 14 off or 14 on 7 off roster in a full-time position. FIFO from SA, VIC, TAS preferred, FIFO from NSW and QLD considered based on experience.

In order to be considered for this position you will need to be able to demonstrate current or previous underground mining experience.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous Raise Bore experience (Beneficial)
• Previous underground experience 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety
• Hold a current Manual Australian Drivers License
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
