PYBAR – a Thiess Company, is a mining services provider with core competencies in metalliferous underground hard rock mining. With origins dating back to 1993, our success is based on safe, rapid underground infrastructure development and consistent, reliable production. We deliver a range of projects, from large established mining operations to greenfield developments across Australia. The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an two nippers to join our close knit team at Eloise Copper Mine operation in Cloncurry QLD, on a 2/2 rotating roster. In order to be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate current or recent experience in heavy industries and experience operating heavy machinery. Previous mining experience is highly desirable. This position is for Queensland based applicants only.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Demonstrated experience in heavy industries 
• Experience on various heavy equipment 
• Previous experience in mining (desirable)
• Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence (Essential)
• Possess a National Police report or be willing to obtain one (essential)
• All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences (RPL's) 
• Possess a QSEC card or be willing to obtain one (essential)
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• Physical capacity to keep up in a demanding role
• A strong focus on safety
